Glamping the fun of camping with the luxuries expected from a spa resort

Such an amazing experience for the family most especially my two kids 8 & 6. They were able to experience the novelty and thrill of camping outdoors while allowing my wife and i the comfort we would expect in a resort! Outdoor bon fire, BBQ right outside our tent for dinner, forest trek, foot massage, etc.

Great service oriented people operating the resort made us feel welcome!

Always been my hiding place

This will be my 2nd visit & review for Nurture. It took me quite some time to gather my thoughts but nevertheless I wouldn’t fail to share my tranquil retreat. We got the best deal ever offered by Nurture, it was an overnight accom, housed to their garden view room. The price we paid for the accom was itself consumable, yes you read it right, consumable! It only means we got a free pampering for an overnight worth! The service was impeccable, it always felt like home. I was surprised with the changes not only inside the village but to the main road as well. Seems like most of my whinges couple of years ago were heard. Having no cable channels when I visited was not an issue at all (I’ve read they already have channels to chose from) cos I came there for total relaxation and they delivered it once again. We arrived at 10 in the evening, there was no one to welcome us aside from the security, we were informed though about the policy since they were promoting tranquil/relaxation. I just wished they would assigned atleast one person to take charge every night aside from the guard, you know for emergency needs of their guest/s. Anyway, everything we requested was right inside our room, our dinner prepared ahead of time, drinks & some movies to chose from.

For someone deafened by the hustle & bustle of city life, nurture’s seamless landscape is a sanctuary. I like the idea of freshly cooked breakfast since I’m not a morning person and ofcourse, a visit wouldnt be sealed without a spa treatment. If there’s a crowd of guest/s, its advisable to booked your sched a day ahead and better if you’ll pick the earliest sched possible. We had an individual body massage and tried their sea salt scrub this time. Worth every peso, I would never hesitate to come back.

Relaxing Experience

Bought a great deal from Deal Grocer for their Ifugao Hut good for 2 persons with breakfast. I also got a coupon for their 90-minute Nilaib Massage. Their place is far from the main Tagaytay scene but if you want to relax & be in a peaceful environment then this place is for you. We were greeted with a spacious reception area & given hot teas & I was offered a fleece blanket because it was really cold. They asked for our information & massage preferences then we were brought to our room. We were given brief instructions about our room then the butler left us. I loved our room. It was everything I was expecting from the pictures. You’re not confined in a hotel type space. It was spacious & homey. Their toiletries smelled great & the linens & bath towels too.

At around 7:50 pm we were fetched from our room by our massage therapist. Our room has it’s own massage area but it was placed outdoors & since it dropped to 17 degrees Celsius at night with strong winds it was not advisable to have our treatment there. So we were brought to their private massage area instead. They greeted us when we got inside because this was our anniversary celebration. It made me happy because I knew that they paid attention to the details they asked from me. I loved our massage. It was very relaxing.

Breakfast was great as well. Their staff are very friendly. I would come back again.

Nurturing the soul

Nurture Spa Village was a dream. It literally made my heart happy to be in the mountains at this location. It is easy to get to and a relatively short drive from Manila. I am an expat living in Manila and miss nature. This will be my new regular haven. The staff was remarkable. Their customer was excellent which is a very very rare find for The Philippines. The grounds were organized, clean, serene and heavenly. The weather was “cold” and we bundled ourselves with blankets the staff provided us. Our group got the foot spa in the outside gazebos overlooking the mountains. It was so peaceful and my feet still feel rejuvenated days later. Our service was followed by the most excellent ginger tea which was as soothing and flavorful as our tarragon welcome tea. We were able to take a tour around the grounds and were continually impressed. They have an area allocated for “glamping” which would be marvelous for families. There is a trampoline and lovely wooden play structure for the wee ones. During our tour we happened upon the “u-pick” garden which is literally a treasure to behold. They had KALE for goodness sakes. At the end of our tour we at lunch in the open dining hall which is compared to a woodlands wedding celebration. Just lovely. The menu is the most impressive menu I have seen in The Philippines. I do not typically eat Filipino food but literally every item had my mouth salivating. It was fresh and flavorful, probably because it is a farm to table meal. I couldn’t stop and had to finish with dessert and was of course overwhelmed with enjoyment. Nurture valley is a great place for business retreats, focusing on health and wellness, couples to focus on romance and enjoy being with one another and the serenity of nature or a wonderful experience for a family campout (or just in one of the rooms!) The pool is small but other than that I have only positive remarks and literally can not wait for my next trip to Nurture Valley.

Unforgettable memories thanks to Nurture Spa

Although this review is late (we stayed at Nurture Spa on the 31st of December 2012), I would still like to commend the staff of Nurture Spa especially Leslie who made my niece’s renewal of vows a life time experience! We all loved the place! All the best and more power! God bless!

Intuitive customer service

Amazing experience at nurture spa. My wife and I stayed there last night to celebrate my week-long birthday and had the most fantastic time. I love the room, the massage and the food. I love the reflexology path and had a fun time trying to finish it. The staff were all amazing. All smiles and very intuitive customer service. They addressed our needs even before we requested for it. I wish I could stay for a week just to unwind. Thank you deal grocer for this fantastic deal. We will return to nurture spa with the entire family soon.

Nature and Nurture Indeed!

Nurture Wellness Village is true to its word. All the good reviews are consistent and the promises it offers in its marketing efforts were all satisfied. We stayed at the Banaue Ifugao hut and my kids were amazed at how it looks like a hut outside yet offers modern amenities inside.

The place in itself is a haven not only for nature lovers but also for mommies who want their kids to enjoy the outdoors.I was able to show my kids different kinds of fruit bearing trees and flowers.I regret that we didn’t have enough time to go to the vegetable garden. The kids also played volleyball and badminton. The place have a play area and a trampoline which my kids
really enjoyed. The swimming pool however is small.

The food was reasonably priced and yummy. My husband liked the bahay kubo soup and my daughter really really loved the kale juice. I recommend that you try the adobo wrap.

The only hassle that we had was the noise coming from the campers outside our hut. Our hut has its own massage area and we had our couple’s massage there after dinner. So we weren’t able to fully relax and enjoy our heavenly massage because of the noise. The kids were so noisy but being a mom of 2 young kids, I can’t possibly complain since the campers were just having a lot of fun. That is why I recommend that you get a room that is far from the camping area if you want some peace and quiet.

Lastly, the place offers not only great accomodation and heavenly massages. It makes you aware of alternatives to achieve wellness in general. My daughter and I were able to talk to the owner, Cathy, and I was impressed with her passion on this matter. She was so warm and gracious. No wonder that her staff members are so attentive and accomodating.

We will definitely come back to this glorious place.

Perfect Getaway

We stayed at Ifugao room. Superb! Finishing touches!

Staffs are great and kind. From the person who opens the gate, kitchen staff, operation manager, everyone! We even chatted w/ someone who worked there for 11 years now. Unforgettable.
They input ideas to make our stay worthwhile and romantic. Hahaha! Thoughtful too.

Avail their morning walks/run.

Their food, yummy and healthy. Highly recommended.

A clinic is currently under construction.

We’ll definitely go back!

Most Relaxing Weekend at Nurture Spa

Unlike others, my weekend isn’t saturday and sunday but rather monday and tues, as my work requires a different time setting. Althroughout the week prior to our visit to nurture spa, I was all consumed and stressed out. But the moment we touched down tagaytay, I gradually felt that an amazing weekend awaits. True enough, when we reached Nurture Spa and we were welcomed with generous smile and the traditional ifugao sounds (i think), I was like, “wow! Bring it on weekend!” We stayed in the very cozy ifugao hut-inspired room with a combination of classic and modern style and architecture. A lot of improvements were apparent from our last visit, too. Come the night and our scheduled massage, we were blown away and were totally knocked down. I literally slept during the massage session! That’s how excellent their massage and spa services are! Highly recommended for people like us, who’s always on the go. Take it slow, head on to tagaytay and experience that heavenly massage and spa, You know you like it!

Great place, nice staff!

I called their direct line a day before to book a package since agoda, expedia and other websites said they are fully booked already. Luckily, i got the last room available. I was a bit doubtful at 1st because the lady on the phone just asked for my name and contact number, she didn’t even mentioned about down payments whatsoever.

We arrived around 7:30PM, and was so hungry we were in a hurry to have dinner already. But the receptionist took us 30 minutes to fill up some forms for the massage and explaining the package I availed. I got a bit irritated coz i was so hungry and all i want to do is walk a few meters ahead and sit at the dining area to eat. Nonetheless, the receptionist is very hospitable and she did explain our package we availed.

Our room is a bit similar to that of a transient room… We stayed in the pamilya room. The comfort room is a bit odd, there were 2 showers and 2 toilets inside. The toilet is a bit cramped, you can’t seat properly with the door closed.
There are no exhausts but they have windows. However, there were no screens in the windows so we didn’t open it coz there are bugs that might enter.
There were no complimentary toiletries in the toilet, we have to call 101 and ask for it. The sink is a bit small in a way that you can’t put your stuff beside it. I suggest they put a wall rack so guests can put their toiletries there. Also, they lack hooks near the shower, there were only 2 hooks located near the door….

Massage is good, I wish guests can sleep in the treatment room. I was so sleepy after the massage i just want to doze off, but i need to get up and walk back to my room…

There’s a tiny pool which was kinda dirty. The weather is pretty cold so i wonder who would like to swim in such a weather.

Saw some camping tents and was fascinated to try it out in a few weeks when i got time to visit again.

I suggest they provide complimentary newspaper in the morning.

The place is very serene. And windy too! Bring a jacket with you as it’s chilly at night!

Amazingly Unforgettable – its more than a Spa

It was our first time to visit Nurture Spa and it’s so hard to choose the exact words to describe how amazingly unforgettable our experience was.”

What makes Nurture Spa different from the others? It is a “Village.”

Nurture Spa has a Spa and Wellness Area, Swimming Pool, Room and Hut Accommodations, Restaurant, Cafe, Organic Planting Areas, Camping Area, Events Area, Playground Area and a Huge Garden to complete the package. You certainly can’t afford to leave and wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.

Plus, the fact that you are in Tagaytay, is what makes is even better. Weather is great. You can feel a little heat in the morning and experience the coldness at night.

The whole place is surrounded by Nature. All you can see are the greens of the earth and all you can hear is its calmness.

Staying here is a great escape from wherever you are. A perfect way to relax, unwind and forget all the stress life is giving.

Starting from an amount of Php 9,000, you can enjoy an overnight stay with FREE massages of your choice and FREE set meals from breakfast to dinner.

Nurture Spa is included in the “28 Most Relaxing Spas in Asia” by CNN and “Top 7 Spas of the Philippines” by Asia Spa.

Its absolutely worth it.

Beautiful place, very relaxing and food was awesome!

my hubby and i availed of an overnight package from a deal site. i didn’t expect much but when we arrived, i was pleasantly surprised by how clean and peaceful it was. after the long drive, you wouldn’t expect such a beautiful place at the end of the road. it’s perfect for garden weddings and the food was really delicious! i loved the turon and hot chocolate which we ordered after our very relaxing massage. we also tried their kare-kare and this breaded dory fillet with mango type salsa, i forgot what it’s called but it was so good! we also commend the staff for being so nice and courteous. one even offered to have the waiter take our order from the suite after asking us what dvds we’d like to borrow. i also like how they have a chart for you to fill up so you’d indicate what massage you like – kind of make it personalized. all in all, it was a real treat. i also bought a deal for my mom and my sister and they came back from their staycation as relaxed as we did.
